Certified Medication Aide

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to Assisted Living residents under licensed nurse supervision, following established protocols.
• Observe residents for medication response or adverse reactions and promptly report concerns.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain up-to-date records.
• Promote resident safety and maintain organized medication supplies.

Requirements

• Medication Aide licensure obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure preferred relevant to state in which work is performed.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
