Certified Medication Aide (Advanced Insulin Admin and Glucose Monitoring Required) 3pm to 11pm Skilled Nursing Facility

Full-time Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) opportunities at The Villages at Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will administer oral and topical medications to residents as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations and consistent with facility policies. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team recognized for its achievements and contributions, supporting a mission to provide superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

Shift: 3pm to 11pm

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy
• Demonstrate knowledge of the "five rights" of medication administration
• Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately
• Observe for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift
• Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy

Qualifications

• Assisted living experience required
• Must have Advanced Insulin Admin and Glucose Monitoring
• State certification as a nurse aide is required
• State approved medication administration certification
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide
• Highly developed observation skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
