GENERAL DUTIES

  • Treats as confidential, within the treating team, all information obtained via various mediums and sources learned in the performance of their duties following all HIPPA guidelines.
  • Strives to render the message accurately, conveying the content and spirit of the original message and maintain impartiality.
  • Acts in a professional and ethical manner and treat all parties with respect.

EDUCATION

Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited interpretation program.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

PREFERRED: Certification from the National Board for Certified Medical Interpreters

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Linguistic proficiency in both English and Spanish.
