Certified Medical Assistant - Totowa Urgent Care
About the role
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, provides basic medical assistance to physicians/providers and nurses by providing basic preparation of patients according to area specific Policy and Procedures including but not limited to vital signs, chart preparation, phlebotomy, procedure assistance and lab sample collection. Utilizes department specific computer systems for entry and retrieval of patient data.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Less than one year of previous work related experience
- Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Maintain current certification or registration from an accredited institution, e.g.: AAMA, NHA, AMT
- Bilingual preferred

Pay
Salary range to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills etc.
