Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant

About the role

Sandhills Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for our Raeford location. This position will assist with patient care and support physicians and other providers in providing quality healthcare to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Escorting patients and documenting chief complaints and reasons for visits
• Taking patient histories
• Obtaining vital signs and measurements for physicals
• Performing lab work ordered by providers
• Checking immunization status
• Administering vaccinations
• Providing other clinical support within the scope of a CMA/RMA

Requirements

• Prior clinical medical experience
• Experience administering vaccinations
• Willing to work some weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule
