Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment
- Initiate testing and document results in the practice’s designated system
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and patient information
- Support staff teamwork by assisting patients, visitors, and colleagues
- Perform clinical intake including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation
- Auxiliary in minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation
- Educate patients on tests, medications, and diets
- Monitor and manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment
- Resolve issues and work independently within the scope of certification
- Communicate effectively by reading, writing, typing, speaking, and comprehending English
- Exercise sound judgment, diplomacy, and maintain a professional demeanor

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related work experience preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support - CPR Cert)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
Qualifications
- Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology
- Knowledge of chronic disease management
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources
- Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems
- Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast-paced environments and effectively apply stress management techniques
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, diplomacy, and a professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to communicate by reading, writing, typing, speaking, and comprehending English effectively

Pay
This facility pays between $17.47 and $29.62 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
