Schedule

• Full time, day shift
• Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 7a-7p, Saturday 8a-12p (occasional); hours will vary Monday-Friday based on clinic needs

Location: 15728 S. Rt 59, Plainfield, IL 60544

Responsibilities

• Travel as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations
• Stay up to date and familiar with all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
• Maintain education requirements for the position and demonstrate competency through annual clinical competencies and written tests
• Ensure efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, and documenting results in the practice’s designated system
• Maintain OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance, following safety processes and policies

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
• 1+ year of related work experience (Preferred)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
• One of the following certifications (Required):
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC)
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
  • National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
• Non-certified medical assistants will be required to obtain certification if hired

Skills

• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology (Required)
• Knowledge of chronic disease management (Required)
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources (Required)
• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems (Required)
• Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast-paced environments and effectively apply stress management techniques (Required)

Pay

Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants

Pay Range: $17.47 - $29.62 per hour
