About the role

Lead the clinical flow by preparing exam rooms and prioritizing patient transitions to ensure a seamless, stress-free experience for both the provider and the patient. Capture the patient’s story by accurately measuring vital signs and interviewing patients to ensure the care team has a clear, real-time clinical picture before every consultation. Master clinical documentation by transcribing diagnoses, orders, and follow-up instructions into the patient record, ensuring the accuracy of the care journey from start to finish. Optimize the care environment by managing essential supplies and materials, ensuring the team is always equipped to provide uninterrupted patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Capture the patient’s story through accurate vital sign measurements and interviews.
  • Transcribe diagnoses, orders, and follow-up instructions into the patient record.
  • Manage essential supplies and materials to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • National Healthcareer Association (NHCA) Medical Assistant credential obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • American Medical Certification (AMCA) from NHCA, AMT, AAMA, or NCCT obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • At least 1 yr of CMA experience.
  • Travel Required: Cedar Park, TX - as needed.

Qualifications

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Schedule

PRN | Weekdays Only | 8 AM - 5 PM | Up to 2 days per week.
