Job Summary
The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification. Inclement weather status required to report.
Job Purpose
To provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPs.
Job Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Licenses and Certifications: National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice.
