Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent combination of licensure and experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient check-in procedures
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and report significant findings to the healthcare provider
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection as ordered
• Conduct audiometry and vision screenings
• Maintain patient recall systems, including follow-up for laboratory tests, referrals, and transfers
• Assist providers with routine clinical procedures and patient care activities
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
