Certified Medical Assistant - Outpatient Cardiology

About the Role

Responsible for delivering a variety of patient care activities under supervision, demonstrating advanced technical skills, and providing peer leadership in a physician practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks aligned with established guidelines and standards
• Support physicians, advanced practice providers, or registered nurses

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting, or 5 years of related clinical experience if uncredentialed
• Required certifications: BCLS, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), and CNA upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy, EKG, X-Ray, or related clinical certifications
