Certified Medical Assistant Night 1x12

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks.
• Assists in obtaining patient histories, taking vital signs, preparing charts, and assisting with medical examinations.
• Affords assistance to doctors during examinations and treatments.
• Performs routine procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, dressing changes, wound cultures, and IM injections according to established protocols.
• Maintains and stocks medicines and medical supplies as needed.
• Enforces safety, environmental, and infection control methods.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program with certification.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records.
• Passes pre-employment Level 2 clearance, including background check and drug screen.
