Position Summary

Captures and coordinates clinic operations, assists providers with vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry, and medical records management. Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services as necessary. Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Performs vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, and data entry
  • Maintains and updates medical records
  • Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services
  • Demonstrates skill in clinical duties such as health history and other clinical duties as directed by clinicians
  • Maintains time management skills and manages multiple tasks
  • Assists patients and providers as necessary

Requirements

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • High School, equivalent or higher
  • One of the following certifications is required: Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Career Association (NHA)
  • 2 years of experience or graduation from an in-person formal training program

Preferred

  • One or more years experience in a clinical or medical office setting

Other Information

  • Full time with benefits - 36 hours per week
  • Day shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5pm
  • No on-call or weekends
  • Must be board certified through AAMA, AMT or NHA
