Certified Medical Assistant II - Neurology

Department: Neurology • Location: Evanston, IL • Facility: Prime Healthcare General Surgery, 800 Austin St, West Tower Suite 253

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organization tasks.
• Handle appointment scheduling and chart management.
• Provide information to patients to help them fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one year of work experience in a public contact job; healthcare experience preferred.
• Current Phlebotomy certification or competency.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
