CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT II (CMA) OR LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) - NORTHWEST URGENT CARE- POST FALLS (PART-TIME)

About the role

This is a part-time position in a dynamic Urgent Care team at Northwest Specialty Hospital. The team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs
• Administering injections
• Performing venipuncture and specimen processing
• Conducting urinalysis and EKG testing
• Auxiliary work in office procedures
• Preparing and cleaning procedure rooms
• Maintaining proper infection control standards
• Safely disposing of biohazard and sharps waste
• Ensuring clinical supplies are fully stocked and organized

Qualifications and Preferred Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with an active certification from AAMA, NCCT, or NHA
• Awareness of cleaning standards and ability to follow them
• Effective communication skills in both verbal and written English
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to complete internal radiology and IV training courses within six months of hire
• Previous experience preferred but not required
