Certified Medical Assistant- GI Specialists

Job Summary

Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and /or Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care duties as assigned.
• Triage and rooming of patients.
• Provides for patient safety.
• Possesses the ability to perform day to day clerical task and related duties.
• Participates in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.

Specifications

• Experience: Minimum Required - One year experience.
• Education: Minimum Required - Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
• Skills: Communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Writing legibly and recording information accurately as necessary to perform job duties. Computer literacy. Maintain Certification. American Heart Association Basic Life Support ONLY.
• Licenses: Certified by the following organizations: NCCT, NAHP, NHA, AMT, AAMA, or AAH ONLY or obtain within 6 months of hire date.
