About the Role

Seeking someone to join a tightly knit small team doing office-based procedures. With a small team, everyone will share the workload to work towards the same shared goals:

Responsibilities

You will be one of two Medical Assistants helping with outpatient interventional radiology procedures:

  • Done in an office setting
  • Minimally invasive procedures on awake patients with fluoro imaging
  • Patients go through standard pre-op checks/questions, then are taken to a procedure room for a 1-2 hour procedure and are then watched in postop for about 30 minutes
  • One MA is in preop/postop, and one is in the procedure room. MAs may rotate through both positions
  • 4-6 cases/day; two days/month

Comfortable with a dynamic setting and varied tasks: charting, checking vitals, talking with patients, opening sterile supplies in the procedure room, and keeping up with changing tasks and needs of the situation.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a procedural setting
  • Comfortable taking ownership of your tasks and being able to understand what's going on with the team and pitching in wherever needed
  • Valid and Current Medical Assistant Certification

Schedule

2 days per month, 8am-5pm
