About the role
The Certified Medical Assistant (MA) will support the Behavioral Health Program at North Canyon Network of Care, a patient-first organization committed to patient outcomes and care coordination.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key support and coordination lead for the Behavioral Health Program
- Support behavioral health providers by coordinating patient care and managing provider schedules
- Foster effective collaboration with external telehealth partners to ensure seamless care delivery across in-person and telehealth services
- Play a critical role in supporting continuity of care, enhancing patient access, and contributing to positive patient outcomes
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician program, or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in the state of Idaho
- Minimum experience as required for the position and/or specific area(s) of assignment
- Strong organizational and care coordination skills, with the ability to manage schedules and multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written comprehension/expression
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing patient and program needs
- Experience or interest in behavioral health or care coordination strongly preferred
- Ability to exhibit behaviors consistent with organizational values (efficiency, safety, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and respect)
- Previous experience supporting behavioral health or telehealth services, preferred
- Experience with care coordination, referral management, or program support
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems
