Certified Medical Assistant - Full Time

About the role

This position involves providing patient care, managing medical records, conducting screenings, recording vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, clinic visits, and documentation to ensure quality standards.
• Monitor environment for compliance and support accreditation readiness.
• Guide patients through the healthcare system, schedule appointments, and provide emotional support.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists and perform additional related duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• National Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program (e.g., CCMA).
• Preferred: Associate’s degree and 1 year healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of holistic, patient-centered, and team-based care.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
