CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT - ENDOCRINOLOGY & METABOLISM

About the Role

This position works closely with physicians, mid-level providers, and nurses in a team setting to deliver high quality patient care in an efficient and effective manner. A strong work ethic, with the ability to multi-task and function in a fast-moving work environment are essential functions of this job.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: None required.
• Required Registration/License/Certification: BLS certification within 90 days of date of hire or transfer. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from National Center for Competency Training (NCCT), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
• Preferred Education: Graduate of a Certified MA program.
• Preferred Experience: One year working in a healthcare related field.
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification: Certification.
