About the role
A certified medical assistant is needed for a position at Dr. Foster, Goodwin, & Mulhearn. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clinical support to the cardiovascular specialists.
Responsibilities
- Handle patient scheduling and billing
- Prepare examination rooms and assist during patient exams
- Administer medications as directed by physicians
- Manage medical records and ensure confidentiality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
