About the role

Lourdes Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. This position offers a competitive hourly wage range of $19.38-$26.89 per hour, rotating shift schedule, and union benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with performing patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of physicians or nurses.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current WA CCMA or CMA certification, to be obtained within the hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certificate, to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Skills

Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
