About the role
Responsible for rendering clinical care within the medical practice in support of and as directed by the physician. Assists in the day-to-day operation of the office to ensure quality patient care.
Clinical care includes patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the medical office
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, ARMA, AAH, ASPT, NRCMA, NAHP, or NHA)
- Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification
- BLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
- Capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, employees, and physicians
- Cognitive ability to understand medical records, physician’s orders, and medical instructions
- Sense of discipline to work by accepted clinical standards
Qualifications
- Six months of experience preferred
- Prior experience performing x-rays and EKGs preferred
- MA or nursing school may be used as part of the required experience
