About the role
Support daily operations in a urology clinic by providing both administrative and direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and collect medical histories
- Assist with urological procedures
- Manage documentation and coordinate patient care
- Schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, and facilitate referrals
- Perform office procedures such as urine catheterizations, bladder scans, and suture removal
- Administer medications and assist with office-based procedures
- Process specimens
- Ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient service
Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from a recognized body
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Relevant healthcare experience preferred
