Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Oncology-Infusion Clinic

About the role

We’re excited to announce the opening of a new, patient-centered Oncology Clinic at MUHA MUSC. We’re building a compassionate and dedicated team from the ground up, and we’re looking for a Certified Medical Assistant who is passionate about oncology care and wants to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Support oncology providers with patient care
• Administer injections
• Take vitals
• Auxiliary with procedures
• Accurately document in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Certified Medical Assistant in South Carolina with one of the following certifications: American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Health career Association (NHA), National Association of Healthcare Professionals (NAHP), Medical Career Assessments (MedCA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association (AHA) certification before seeing patients

Pay

The pay rate is hourly, under the Pay Grade Health-21.

Schedule

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 40 weekly hours.
