The Certified Medical Assistant position is with Baptist Heart Specialists in Jacksonville Beach, FL, located at the Downtown – Howard Building.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals
• Performs back‑office Medical Assistant duties such as rooming patients and administering EKGs

Requirements

• Must be a team player

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate of Arts or Science preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred

Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
