About the role
The Field Medical Assistant will administer misting therapy to patients in their homes, order medical supplies, scribe for doctors, perform chart checks, coordinate skin sweeps, and make initial assessment calls.
Responsibilities
- Administer misting therapy on wound patients
- Order medical supplies
- Scribe for respective doctors
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients
- Cook up skin sweep scheduling
- Scribe for skin sweeps
- Make initial assessment calls
Requirements
- Valid MA Certification
- 1–2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong awareness of medical terminology
- Strong desire for patient care
