About the role
The Medical Assistant at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health will play a crucial role in keeping the day running smoothly and efficiently for both patients and clinical team members. You will be responsible for proactively preparing patient charts, ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in the facility. You can expect to handle multiple patients each day, depending on the number of physicians on-site.Responsibilities

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Certified (CM).
- Knowledge of third-party payer requirements.
- Strong aptitude for detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using a PC.
Preferred
- One year Medical Assistant – Certified experience.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Certified (CM).
- Knowledge of third-party payer requirements.
- Strong aptitude for detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Pay
The posted compensation range for this position is $27.25 - $42.23 per hour, reflecting the lowest and highest pay CommonSpirit Health believes it might offer for this role, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit Health reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 48 hours per pay period, with a weekly schedule of 0800-1630 and a shift type of Day. The position is not remote.
