Position Requirements
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: MA-Non-Credentialed I: MA eligible to attain Medical Assistant Certification/Registration within 90 days of employment, or EMT with current/active license in the State of Georgia, or Paramedic following successful completion of the National Registry Paramedic Exam and/or holds a current/active license in the State of Georgia. Valid CPR certification.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of accredited/approved MA program and MA Externship, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, Paramedic program or Certified Athletic Trainer.
- Experience: 0–3 year previous clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Special Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet applications required.
- Prefers experience with medical office operations and use of EMR.
