Job Summary
Award-winning, private outpatient practice currently hiring a reliable Bilingual CMA with X-ray Certification and 1 year of Orthopedic experience to join our multi-provider team in Dallas, TX 75243 full-time. Starts in 1 to 2 weeks with immediate Benefits.
PAY
PAY: $20.07/hr - $23/hr | Based on experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday, days | 40hrs/wk guaranteed
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with minimum of 1 year experience in Orthopedics
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- X-ray Certified
- Wound care, X-ray support, medication administration
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, & patient service skills across diverse populations
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
Job Duties
- Prepare Ortho trauma patients for examination and treatment, explain procedures, and support physicians during exams.
- Prepare exam/treatment rooms with necessary instruments, sterilization, maintenance of supplies & equipment for treatment.
- Address questions, appointments, and communication between patients and providers.
- Injuries, fracture care, tendon ruptures, comprehensive joint reconstruction and trauma patients.
- Perform intake procedures, collect medical histories and maintain accurate documentation within EMR Centricity.
- Assist with clinical procedures, including medication administration, wound care, and basic X-ray imaging.
