Job Description

• Patient Interaction
• Greet and check in patients, verify insurance information, and collect co-pays.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, answer phone calls, and address patient inquiries.
• Administrative Duties
• Maintain and update patient records, manage electronic medical records (EMR), and handle data entry with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Clinical Support
• Prepare examination rooms, and support healthcare providers as needed.
• Office Coordination
• Manage office supplies, ensure the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, and coordinate with other departments to facilitate patient care.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional certification in healthcare administration or medical assisting is a plus.
• Previous experience as a medical office assistant or in a similar administrative role in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other office software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• An attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
