About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical team with various clinical and administrative tasks. Your commitment to patient-centered care and attention to detail will ensure a smooth experience for patients and staff alike in our intimate concierge practice.

Imagine a workday where you see 7-10 patients instead of 30, where you remember everyone’s name, their story, and their health journey. You’ll have the time and resources to deliver white-glove care, working at the top of your scope with advanced testing and personalized care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with a select patient panel.
  • Conduct thorough intake and clinical assessments without rushing.
  • Work closely with our physician in a true collaborative partnership during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and efficient environment.
  • Assist with and coordinate advanced diagnostic and preventive testing.
  • Manage patient records by accurately inputting information into electronic health records (EHR) and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinate comprehensive care plans and follow up with patients personally.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact, responding to patient needs with care and attention.
  • Apply expanded clinical skills in a thoughtful, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Two years of related medical experience (EKG, injections, vitals, triage, etc.).
  • Two years of knowledge in examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
  • Two years of knowledge in medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Two years of OSHA and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient practices.
  • Familiarity with specific EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Athena).
  • Experience with patient education and health promotion.

  • Maintain accuracy in patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
  • Effectively interact with patients and medical staff, fostering a welcoming and informative atmosphere.
  • Work cohesively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Respond to changing clinical demands and patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding while addressing patient concerns and inquiries.
