Responsibilities
- Room patients;
- Obtain vital signs;
- Perform medication reconciliation;
- Prepare and assist patients during examinations and procedures, including chaperoning;
- Administer vaccines;
- Perform venipuncture;
- Collect and process specimens;
- Accurately document care in the medical record;
- Maintain clean, stocked, and safe exam and procedure rooms;
- Ensure efficient patient flow and communicate clinical changes to providers;
- Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with staff orientation as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of CMA experience;
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program;
- Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA or NRCMA) from an approved agency is required;
- Valid BLS CPR certification required upon hire; and recertification required every two years.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
