Responsibilities
- Provide support to Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients through various tasks such as patient care management, organization, and communication.
- Complete tasks accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate provider referrals to assigned Specialists.
- Answer patient questions regarding their care and keep them informed of their status.
- Inform technical staff of patient flow.
- Prepare patients for examination, including conducting interviews, recording medical history, confirming the purpose of the visit, performing preliminary physical tests, and providing patient information to the provider.
- Conduct point of care testing as needed and maintain medical records and supply inventory.
- Answer phone calls, collect and sort incoming and outgoing mail, conduct courtesy call-backs, and perform opening and closing duties.
- Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibrate equipment; troubleshoot and maintain equipment, and submit repair tickets as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program required.
- Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Front Desk experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire.
- One of the following certifications required at the time of hire: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA.
- Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required, including excellent time management, social perceptiveness, written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and planning skills, proficiency in MS Office and patient management software, and core competencies in Collaboration, Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion, Integrity, and Accountability.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma required. Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program required.
- Experience: Medical Assistant experience preferred. Front Desk experience preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire. One of the following certifications required at the time of hire: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA.

Pay
- Minimum hourly rate starts at $17/hour and is commensurate with experience.
