Certified Medical Assistant

Shifts: Days (8:00am to 4:30pm)

Location: Dallas Medical Center - Farmers Branch, TX

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to support both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment under the supervision of physicians and nurses. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for examinations and procedures
• Assist providers with routine clinical procedures, treatments, and patient care needs
• Administer medications and injections as permitted by certification and clinic policy
• Update patient records, document clinical information, and maintain accurate medical histories
• Coordinate prescription refills, lab results, referrals, and follow-up appointments

Requirements

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant School or Vocational Training program
• Minimum one year of work experience in a public contact job (healthcare experience preferred)
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter
