For the Job...

Perform a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians providing direct patient care, and maintaining proper standards of quality.

Qualifications For The Job

• High school education required
• Minimum one year experience in healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic setting
• Specialized technical training of one to two years preferred
• CPR certification required
• Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
• Skill in taking vital signs
• Maintaining records and recording test results
• Establishing and maintaining working relationships with patients, medical staff and public
• Reading, understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instruction
• Communicating clearly and maintaining quality control standards
