About the role
Cascade Community Healthcare is a 50+ year-old organization serving Lewis County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide compassionate and encouraging counseling to help clients make positive changes and live more fulfilling lives. We operate from six treatment locations.
Responsibilities
- Greets, receives, and prepares patients for appointments/procedures.
- Conducts interviews with patients, measures vital signs, and records information.
- Performs routine laboratory/diagnostic tests under the provider's supervision.
- Provides vaccinations and other routine procedures under the provider's supervision.
- Sets up for in-office procedures.
- Maintains nursing stations and examination areas in compliance with OSHA standards and Universal Precautions.
- Maintains inventory of medical supplies and materials.
- Captures patient flow and coordinates patient care.
- Documents patient care accurately and thoroughly, including medical history, physical exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and continues education to stay updated on current practices.
- Adheres to safety protocols and exhibits courteous behavior towards patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adjusts to varying patient loads and operational demands.
- Supports the medical office during emergencies.
- Attends meetings and participates in cross-location support as needed.
Requirements
- WA State Certified Medical Assistant Credential.
- One-year experience in primary care preferred.
- One-year experience using Electronic Health Record preferred.
- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) preferred.

- Organized and able to work independently in various settings.
- Maintains current contact information and mailing address on file with the HR office.

- Adaptable and versatile, capable of handling multiple tasks.
- Good attendance record.

Pay
This position is classified as non-exempt according to the Fair Labor Standards Act. Salary range is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Schedule
Day shift: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm.
