Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Less than (1) one year of experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from a program accredited by a reputable professional healthcare association
• Understanding of medical administration safety procedures and standards
• Knowledge of the five patient rights
• Adept at administering injections and drawing blood
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Able to foster trust and rapport with patients
• Willingness and ability to follow instructions from doctors
• Familiarity with medical charts and records
• A keen eye for details
