About the role

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient care related tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the provider as necessary.
• Use our EMR system.
• Register patients.
• Verify insurance.
• Scan medical records.
• Phone patients with results and maintain proper medical documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a Physician’s office CMA, CCMA, or RMA preferred.
• Great attitude and engages patients with a smile.
• Team player and problem solver; able to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with all physicians.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
