Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support patient care by assisting physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
• Perform accurate data entry for patient registration, insurance verification, and billing charges
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, update providers, and inform patients about benefits
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, licensed personnel, and third-party payers
• Maintain a professional and caring manner
• Complete other assigned duties

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred
