Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles using knowledge and skills
- Continuously build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and communicate concerns effectively
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Requirements
- Experienced Master Certified L1, or seeking an L1 certificate
- Clean driving record
- Expert drivability/diagnostic technical skills
- Electrical experience with all makes and models
- 15+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Willingness to help train/mentor other team members
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all years/makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional OEM scan tool systems
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 30 pounds
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head height
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
