Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles using knowledge and skills
  • Continuously build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Work closely with the service department and communicate concerns effectively
  • Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Requirements

  • Experienced Master Certified L1, or seeking an L1 certificate
  • Clean driving record
  • Expert drivability/diagnostic technical skills
  • Electrical experience with all makes and models
  • 15+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
  • Willingness to help train/mentor other team members
  • Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all years/makes/models of vehicles
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
  • Aptitude for learning additional OEM scan tool systems
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills
  • Desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 30 pounds
  • Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head height
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs
  • Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
