Certified/Licensed Video Poker Cashier

About the role

Responsible for providing friendly, courteous and efficient service to our customers in a video poker gameroom. Ensure prompt response to all customers needs. Ensures all customers receive extraordinary service by providing drinks, change and promoting promotions.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned bank or window according to procedure.
• Counts down bank or window at end of each shift and reconciles to the cage accountability.
• Responsible for the operation of assigned bank or window according to regulations.
• Ensures that contents of the banks are organized so they can be readily counted at shift change.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be able to obtain and/or have possession of a State Video Poker permit, Louisiana vendors servers permit, ABO License and clear state background check (no felonies or misdemeanors for theft or gaming violations.)
• Must be able to stand 100% of shift.
• General cashiering background or prior money handling experience preferred.

Skills

• Must have good math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
