About the role
VNSW@Home provides home health care services in Putnam and Dutchess Counties. We are currently seeking motivated Home Health Aides to provide care for our patients. First time aides are welcome as we offer a top-tier training and certification program.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to healthcare providers
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Adhere to infection control protocols
Requirements
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and mobility
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of home health care practices
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
