About the role

A certified home health aide (CHHA) is needed to provide personal care services to clients in their homes. Duties include assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication management. The CHHA must also help with light housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help clients with meal preparation and eating
• Monitor and assist with medication administration
• Perform light cleaning and laundry tasks
• Communicate regularly with clients' families and healthcare providers

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey certification as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Experience in home health care or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passing score on the New Jersey State Board exam

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Good physical condition and stamina
