Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including, baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen
• Assist patients with dressing and undressing
• Provide skin care to prevent breakdown
• Auxiliary tasks such as keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, as appropriate
• Auxiliary tasks such as assisting the patient with toileting activities
• Auxiliary tasks such as assisting the patient with feeding, if necessary
• Perform range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)
• Auxiliary tasks such as assisting patient in the self-administration of medication
• Meet safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.)
• Report on patient’s condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse

Requirements

• Valid CHHA CA Certification
• Current BLS/CPR Certification
• Valid CA Driver's License

Pay

Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. 21st Century offers generous bonus incentive plans, comprehensive health benefits and 401k (Up to 4% match).
