Certified Home Health Aide

About the role

This position provides personal care and related services to patients in their homes under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist. The Certified Home Health Aide functions as part of the Interdisciplinary Team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to patients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living as directed by the supervising healthcare professional
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during home visits
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements

• Current certification as a Home Health Aide in the state of CA
• CPR certified (American Heart Association only)
• One year experience as a C.N.A. or C.H.H.A. preferred

Qualifications

• Valid CA driver's license and an automobile, with current auto insurance for field work required
