About the role

Home Helpers Home Care has an immediate Home Health Aide opening in the Somerset, NJ area for a caregiver who speaks Tagalog in addition to English. The role involves providing one‑on‑one in‑home companion care and daily living assistance to elderly clients and those needing recuperative or continuing care. Responsibilities

• Provide caring and dependable companionship
• Perform light housekeeping
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, toileting)
• Provide transportation to and from client appointments and activities
• Carry out a plan of care that best supports the client
• Create compassionate, supportive solutions to the client’s unique needs by collaborating with Home Helpers associates and the client’s family
• Aid with activities of daily living
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits

Requirements

• Currently certified (e.g., HHA/CNA)
