Responsibilities
- Provide hands‑on personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Support client independence while ensuring safety and well‑being
- Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and document as required
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
- Physical ability to perform essential duties of the position
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
- At least two verifiable professional references
- Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months
- Successful national criminal background check (including any additional state‑required screenings)
- Valid physical examination within the last year
- Negative TB test or chest X‑ray
- Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination
Pay
Starting rate: $19.50 per hour, with potential up to $21/hour. Instant Pay available to access earnings before payday.
Schedule
Flexible scheduling: full‑time, part‑time, or per diem shifts. All shifts available (hourly caregivers needed).
