Position Overview

We are building a pool of compassionate Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) who value personal growth, professional development, and delivering exceptional, client‑centered care. Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude, adaptability to clients’ needs, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Support client independence while ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and document as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff.
• Work any shift as needed; all shifts are available.

Minimum Requirements

• Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing.
• Physical ability to perform essential job duties.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
• At least two verifiable professional references.
• Verifiable employment history for the past 12 months.
• Successful completion of a national criminal background check (and any additional state screenings).
• Proof of a valid physical examination within the last year.
• Negative TB test or chest X‑ray.
• Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination.

Pay

Starting at $19.50 per hour, with potential earnings up to $21 per hour. Instant Pay is available for early access to earnings.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling options include full‑time, part‑time, or per diem work, subject to shift availability. All shifts are open for hourly caregivers.
