About the role

We are currently building our pool of compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) who value personal growth, professional development, and delivering exceptional, client-centered care. Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude, adaptability to clients’ needs, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Support client independence while ensuring safety and well-being
• Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and document as required
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Dharma Home Care staff

Requirements

• Must hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license in good standing
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of this position
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• Must provide at least two verifiable professional references
• Must provide verifiable employment history for the past 12 months
• Must successfully pass a national criminal background check (including any additional screenings required by the State of New Jersey)
• Must provide proof of the following:
  • Valid physical examination within the last year
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Proof of Hepatitis B and MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination

Pay

Earn $19.50–$21/hour. Instant Pay available.

Schedule

Flexible schedules available: full-time, part-time, or per diem (subject to shift availability). All shifts available.
